Use of the service

Carougen is a tool that connects to your Instagram Business or Creator account to generate on-brand carousel posts using AI. By using this service you agree to these terms and to Meta's Platform Terms.

Account requirements

You must have an Instagram Business or Creator account linked to a Facebook Page to use this service. Personal Instagram accounts are not supported.

Your content

You retain ownership of all content generated using this service. You are responsible for ensuring that any content you publish to Instagram complies with Instagram's Community Guidelines and Terms of Use.

AI-generated content

Content generated by Carougen — including carousel copy and slide images — is produced by AI and may contain inaccuracies, errors, or content that does not reflect your intent. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before publishing it to Instagram. Carougen is not responsible for any content you choose to post.

Instagram compliance

When using Carougen's publish feature, you must comply with Instagram's Community Guidelines and Terms of Use. You are solely responsible for the content published to your account through this service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Carougen to:

• Automate bulk or scheduled posting in violation of Instagram's policies
• Generate or publish spam, misleading content, or content that violates platform rules
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, API restrictions, or platform safeguards
• Use the service on behalf of others without their knowledge and consent

Subscription and payment

Carougen offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access until then. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

Service availability

Carougen depends on Meta's Instagram Graph API to read posts and publish content. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted service if Meta changes, restricts, or revokes API access. We also depend on OpenAI's API for content generation and Vercel for hosting — service may be unavailable during outages on any of these platforms.

No warranties

This service is provided as-is. We make no guarantees about uptime, availability, or the quality of AI-generated content. Use the preview feature to review all content before publishing.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Carougen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or damage to your Instagram account or brand. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of this service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on the app. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Termination

You may disconnect your Instagram account at any time from the Instagram app under Settings → Apps and Websites. You may also request full data deletion — see our data deletion page.
